Some of the most premiere college cheer & dance teams from schools across the nation have been working hard all season long to prepare their routines, and it's almost time for their moment to shine! The 2025 NCA & NDA College Nationals is set to take place April 10-12 in Daytona Beach, Florida. This iconic beach town has been home to so many unforgettable moments on The Bandshell and inside the Ocean Center. After putting in the work, these college cheer & dance teams are ready to give it their all in hopes of hoisting that trophy.

Legends are made in Daytona Beach each season, and we can't wait to see what these teams have been working on. From high flying stunts on The Bandshell, to beautiful dance routines that always leave us wanting more... it's gearing up to be another unforgettable week in Daytona Beach for NCA & NDA College Nationals. The Work is Worth It, and we're about to see that come to life starting on April 10! Ahead of all the action, here are some storylines we're keeping an eye on. 

2025 NCA & NDA College Nationals: What To Look Out For 

Weber State University  

Weber State University painted Daytona Beach purple last season. The Wildcats went on an incredible run, sweeping every single division they were a part of in both cheer & dance. As a program, Weber State University took wins in Advanced Large Coed DIA, Advanced Small Coed Division I, Hip Hop Division I, and Jazz Division I. Weber State University was also named Grand Champions with the highest score of the competition. The Wildcats had six couples compete in the Partner Stunt competition with Hailey & Josh walking away as National Champions. There was also one Weber State University in the Group Stunt competition. Needless to say, Weber State University is always a program that you can count on to show up and put on one amazing show. They had some incredible stunts last season that left the Bandshell in awe, including their double up to shoulder sit in the pyramid, and cupie hand in hand pop throughs! We are eager to see what they bring to the stage this season.

BYU Cheer On The Rise

If you want to follow a team on the rise, look no further than the Brigham Young University Cougars. The BYU Cheer Team has been making a name for themselves in Daytona Beach, and they have plenty of momentum coming off an incredible run last season! At the 2024 NCA College Nationals, BYU Cheer finished in third place in Advanced Small Coed Division IA hitting zero for their finals performance on The Bandshell, and finished in second place in Game Day Division IA. Varsity TV caught up with some members of the BYU Cheer team during the summer, and they said that feeling of hitting zero on The Bandshell was an unforgettable moment that left them hungry for more! Keep an eye out for The Cougars to make some noise again this season.

From March Madness, To Daytona Beach! 

Bring on the madness! Sports fans go crazy this time of the year following along with the NCAA Men's & Women's Basketball Tournaments. But do you ever think about the busy schedules of the team behind the team? Many of the cheer & dance teams we'll see taking the stage at the 2025 NCA & NDA College Nationals have had a busy month traveling to cheer on their teams in March Madness. Along with their busy travel schedules & school work, these teams are all hard at work getting their routines ready for college nationals! Here's a look at all the schools that had either a men's or women's basketball team playing in the NCAA Tournament: 

• Texas Tech University 
• Brigham Young Unviersity 
• University of Louisville 
• Iowa State University 
• University of Kansas 
• Clemson University 
• NC State
• The University of South Carolina

The Advanced Large Coed Junior College Division 

This division is always known for putting on a show. The fans are so loyal and run deep for Trinity Valley Community College and Navarro College - two Texas programs that are just about 40 miles away from each other! Both programs have found plenty of success and always bring intense competition as they showcase routines loaded with talent. Trinity Valley Community College returns to Daytona Beach as the reigning National Champions in this division. As a program, Trinity Valley Community College has won 15 NCA National Championships. Meanwhile, Navarro College will also aim to reclaim the crown, last taking the win in 2023. As a program, Navarro College has won 18 total NCA National Championships. If you want a must-see moment, keep an eye out for Navarro College's standing tumbling section where Kaitlyn Aquino is set to compete a series of three whip fulls. You also can't forget about Iowa Central Community College, the 3x NCA College National Champions, who always show up ready to make a statement. Between these three programs, the Advanced Large Coed Junior College division is always a must-watch.

Sam Houston State University Dance 

The Orange Pride dance team gave us a performance to remember last season in Jazz Division IA, taking the stage for the first time as a Division IA program. Sam Houston State University has a deep history of success with many titles in Division I, but last season was their moment to shine in Division IA. The team did just that, finishing in third place at the 2024 NDA College Nationals. Sam Houston State University also competed in Team Performance Division IA where they were named National Champions. With 12 overall NDA National Championships, you always know Sam Houston State University is going to bring their A-Game. We're looking forward to seeing what the Orange Pride Dance Team brings to the stage this season.
