The Youth Summit is one of the prestigious end-of-season events toward which competitors work so hard all season long, and Varsity TV will have every minute of the action from the Tampa Convention Center in Tampa, Florida, on April 24-25.

This event is geared toward youth teams that previously would’ve been able to compete against the best of the best at The Summit – that was until 2020, when the youth divisions were eliminated. 

Two years later, the creation of the Youth Summit was announced, with the first event taking place in Tampa in April 2023.

Throughout each season now, Varsity All Star teams in eligible divisions can earn bids to the Youth Summit, where younger athletes get the chance to shine against top-caliber talent in a similar age range.

What To Know About The Tampa Convention Center

The Youth Summit returns to the Tampa Convention Center in Tampa, Florida, in 2025, and there are few places more beautiful than the coast of Florida in the spring. 

The amazing locale gives competitors and their guests the perfect opportunity to combine competition with a nice vacation as the school year winds down. 

The Tampa Convention Center is a waterfront property located in downtown Tampa that features more than 600,000 square feet of versatile space to go along with its picturesque backdrop. It is less than 20 minutes from the airport and close to more than 100 local attractions.

The four levels of space include an exhibition hall, ballroom, pre-function areas, breakout rooms, cafes, gathering areas and state-of-the-art amenities.
