The Recreational Summit is another one of the prestigious end-of-season events, and it has become so popular that a second location has been added to make it accessible to even more competitors in 2025!

The first Recreational Summit was held in Tampa, Florida, in 2024, giving recreational teams a front-row seat to The Summit experience. Adding a second location will allow more teams to end their seasons with top-tier competition and unforgettable moments.

The event returns to Tampa and the Tampa Convention Center in 2025, and Varsity TV will have every minute of the action on April 26-27, 

The new addition to the schedule will take place in Phoenix on April 12-13, alongside the West Regional Summit. 

This Recreational Summit is geared toward recreational competitors and different than the Youth Summit, which is being held for younger All Star athletes at the same venue earlier in the week.

To be eligible for The Recreational Summit, teams must be affiliated with an organization such as YMCA, Boys & Girls Club, city/community youth organization Pop Warner Association or another community-run program. Unaffiliated teams must go through a verification process.

Teams may NOT be part of the All Star program.

Throughout each season now, teams in eligible divisions can earn bids to the Recreational Summit.

What To Know About The Tampa Convention Center

The Recreational Summit is headed back to the Tampa Convention Center in Tampa, Florida, in 2025, giving competitors the opportunity to end their seasons alongside friends and family in an amazing vacation destination.  

The Tampa Convention Center is a waterfront property located in downtown Tampa that features more than 600,000 square feet of versatile space paired with a breathtaking backdrop. It is less than 20 minutes from the airport and close to more than 100 local attractions.

The four levels of space include an exhibition hall, ballroom, pre-function areas, breakout rooms, cafes, gathering areas and state-of-the-art amenities.
