While many of the locations for The U.S. Finals remain the same in 2025, one of this year’s 10 events is headed to the CURE Insurance Arena in Trenton, New Jersey.

It’s all part of an end-of-season extravaganza that allows teams to finish their seasons close to home and with one final memorable experience together. 

The U.S. Finals: Trenton is one of three events scheduled for April 26, and Varsity TV will be there to provide live coverage of the entire competition. The day’s other events will be taking place in Louisville, Kentucky, and Worcester, Massachusetts. 

The opening day of U.S. Finals action April 5 will see competitors head to Tacoma, Washington; Chicago; and Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Another three sites will be bustling on April 12 – Des Moines, Iowa; Galveston, Texas; and Niceville, Florida. The schedule will conclude with one final event in Virginia Beach, Virginia, on May 3.

By breaking up the U.S. Finals into multiple one-day events across many locations, teams have the ability to choose the date and location that work best for them. 

Competitors have earned their way to the U.S. Finals through their performances and success at other events, so this is the ultimate way to end the season.

The U.S. Finals are open to All Star Elite Cheer, All Star Dance, Prep, Novice, CheerABILITIES, DanceABILITIES, Youth/Rec and International Division Cheer teams (U.S. teams only).

What To Know About The CURE Insurance Arena

In 2025, Trenton, New Jersey, joins the list of cities hosting one of the events that are part of The U.S. Finals. 

The Garden State’s CURE Insurance Arena will welcome the season-ending U.S. Finals: Trenton, but the venue is not new to the cheer and dance world, as it has hosted the Cheer Power Trenton Showdown and other events in the past. 

The 250,000-square foot facility can fit up to 10,000 people for a variety of events, including concerts by top recording artists, basketball, hockey, monster trucks and more.

Things To Do In Trenton, New Jersey

The Trenton area is rich in history, much of which is celebrated in the New Jersey State Museum and a variety of attractions paying tribute to the soldiers and battles from/in New Jersey. 

Trenton also has art, artifacts, a planetarium, theater, homes that belonged to influential residents, parks, shopping, outdoor activities and great places to grab a bite to eat.

New Jersey is known for having some incredible subs/hoagies, Taylor Ham/pork roll, amazing tomatoes, cranberry-related snacks and foods, Italian hot dogs, seafood, pizza and tomato pie and salt water taffy.
