Mississippi State Cheer Wows At Just 2nd NCA College Nationals In Daytona
Mississippi State Cheer competed for the first time in the Advanced All Girl DIA division and outscored some of the best programs in the country in prelims
Mississippi State Cheer proved it can more than hang with some of the best programs in the Advanced All Girl Division IA class on the first day of the NCA College Nationals in Daytona Beach, Fla.
The Bulldogs entered one of the most loaded classes of the championship, which began on April 10, and placed third in the prelims, just behind the powerhouse program Louisville, a multi-time NCA Championship program, and Oklahoma State University.

The Bulldogs had an event score of 23.1917.
Why Mississippi State Cheer鈥檚 Prelim Score At NCA College Nationals Is Impressive
This is just the second time Mississippi State has competed at NCA College Nationals. In their debut in 2024, MSU competed in the intermediate level. They finished third in the Intermediate Small Coed Division IA.
Now Mississippi State is in position to win a national championship after placing third on Day 1 in prelims.
When Does Mississippi State Cheer Compete On Friday?
Mississippi State will compete at 6:36 p.m. ET on Friday, April 11 in the Bandshell.
