Who To Watch In League 6 This Season? - Maine Stars Glory

The 2025-2026 All Star cheer season is almost here, which means we're getting closer to kicking off Season 4 of The Varsity Cheer League! Each year of The Varsity Cheer League has brought more & more excitement. Teams go back to the drawing board each year to figure out the best way to maximize their competition schedule in hopes of climbing to the top of The Leaderboard. One team to keep an eye on in The League 6 Coed Conference is Maine Stars Glory. Glory is coming off of one of their best seasons yet. Their big wins on the floor translated to a competitive run on The League 6 Coed Leaderboard where they finished as the highest scoring D2 team. Maine Stars Glory is going to be an exciting team to watch this season, and here's a look into why!

2025-2026 League 6 Teams To Watch: Maine Stars Glory

Maine Stars Glory truly had a magical season last year. The team picked up some very defining wins at places like NCA All-Star Nationals, Battle at The Boardwalk Grand Nationals, The Athletic Championships Grand Nationals and SpiritFest Grand Nationals. They finished their season being named World Champions for the first time ever at the USASF Cheerleading Worlds. On The Leaderboard last season, Glory had first place wins at six events, and had one close second place finish at CHEERSPORT Nationals where they still earned 675 points. Their performance last season earned them some special opportunities, like performing at Battle In The Arena before NCA All-Star Nationals. Maine Stars is a program that as a whole has been on the rise with successful teams at all levels. They're a strong contender to keep an eye on for all races in The Varsity Cheer League. We saw Glory use some strategic planning last year to maximize their points, especially at the end of the season with events like ACDA Reach The Beach Grand Nationals.

Maine Stars Glory Coach Kelsey Daigle says the team has been hard at work preparing for the new season. "They've been working so hard. They are motivated for that back-to-back!" said Daigle. This team has been building so much momentum the last few seasons, and it feels like this year has the potential to be next-level.
