The 2025-2026 All Star cheer season is almost here, which means we're getting closer to kicking off Season 4 of The Varsity Cheer League! Each year of The Varsity Cheer League has brought more & more excitement. Teams go back to the drawing board each year to figure out the best way to maximize their competition schedule in hopes of climbing to the top of The Leaderboard. Our next team to keep an eye on this season is Stars Vipers HISS, a team that has become a very familiar name on the League 6 Coed Leaderboard. HISS is taking on a new division this season in L6 Limited XSmall Coed, but that doesn't change any of the momentum they've been building up when it comes to the Varsity Cheer League. 

2025-2026 League 6 Teams To Watch: Stars Vipers HISS

Last season, Stars Vipers HISS held the first-place spot on the League 6 Coed Leaderboard from January 21 to March 4. They were very much in contention until the very end as they competed to earn some of the final big points of the season at One Up Grand Nationals. Here's a look at Stars Vipers HISS' performance the last two seasons in the Varsity Cheer League League 6 Coed Conference:

• 2024-2025 - 6th Place with 3,650 points 
• 2023-2024 - 4th Place with 3,574 points 

Stars Vipers HISS is a team that has been very strategic with their schedule in the Varsity Cheer League. They go big early on in the season, which has allowed them to hold a nice lead on the early drops of The Leaderboard. Last season, they earned big points from two first-place wins just in December alone. They had a huge month in January where they competed at both The MAJORS & JAMfest Cheer Super Nationals in one weekend to earn 1,123 total points. They followed that up with 675 points from a second-place finish at CHEERSPORT Nationals. Expect to see a very similar schedule for HISS this season, where they will most likely build up early points again with those December & January events. 

Stars Vipers HISS continued to grow stronger each season. We're excited to see them take the stage in a new division this season in L6 Limited XSmall Coed, but we still expect them to bring the same flare & entertainment to the stage. HISS is a team full of great performers, clean tumbling, and strong stunt sequences.
