Who To Watch In League 6 This Season? - Cheer Extreme SMOEX

The 2025-2026 All Star cheer season is almost here, which means we're getting closer to kicking off Season 4 of The Varsity Cheer League! Each year of The Varsity Cheer League has brought more & more excitement. Teams go back to the drawing board each year to figure out the best way to maximize their competition schedule in hopes of climbing to the top of The Leaderboard. Our next team to keep an eye on this season is a team that took the L6 Senior XSmall Coed division by storm last season. Be sure to add Cheer Extreme Raleigh SMOEX to your list of teams to watch. Fresh off a 5th place finish in the League 6 Coed standings, SMOEX is back and ready to make another big statement. 

2025-2026 League 6 Teams To Watch: Cheer Extreme Raleigh SMOEX

The 2024-2025 season was a big year for Cheer Extreme Raleigh SMOEX. They brought home first place at five different events, along with two second place finishes. They earned 600 points from first place wins at events like Battle Under The Big Top Grand Nationals, Spirit Sports Grand Nationals and CANAM Grand Nationals. JAMfest Cheer Super Nationals was a defining win for SMOEX where they won 700 points from a first place win out of nine teams in the division! They also claimed some significant points from the NCA All-Star National Championship where they won 675 points from their second place finish. 

If you're thinking about the L6 Senior XSmall Coed division, SMOEX is a team that should spark your attention as a strong contender. They've found success in the division for several seasons. There's a lot to look forward to this season with SMOEX, including an invite to take the stage at the MAJORS 2026. Here's a look back at their performance in the League 6 Coed the last two seasons: 

  • 2024-2025: 5th Place - 3,749 points from six events 
  • 2023-2024: 29th Place - 2,975 points from five events

We're excited to follow along with Cheer Extreme Raleigh SMOEX as they take the stage in the L6 Senior XSmall Coed division. SMOEX has another great opportunity to gain some early points on the Leaderboard with events like Battle Under The Big Top Grand Nationals, The MAJORS and JAMfest Cheer Super Nationals.
