We are off and running with Season 4 of the Varsity Cheer League! There's already been a few early events worth 400 points, and there's plenty to look forward to with exciting 600 point events coming up in December. To prepare for the upcoming year, Varsity TV has compiled a League 6 teams to watch list and the time has come to reveal our final team! What makes the Varsity Cheer League exciting is its clean slate each season, allowing all teams the opportunity to have a big year. Our final team we are eager to see in action this season is GymTyme Illinois Fever from the L6 Senior XSmall Coed division. 

2025-2026 League 6 Teams To Watch: GymTyme Illinois Fever 

GymTyme Illinois Fever is a team you can always count on to bring a clean routine executed with great technique. Their focus on technique, along with their impressive skills, has allowed them to find great success in the L6 Senior XSmall Coed division. That success has, in turn, translated to Fever being a solid contender in the League 6 Coed conference in the Varsity Cheer League. Here's a look at their final placements on the leaderboard the last two seasons: 

• 2024-2025: Tied for 12th place with 3,322 points
• 2023-2024: 2nd place with 3,598 points 

Last season was full of plenty of wins for Fever. Some big wins included One Up Grand Nationals & the NCA Virtual Championship for 600 points. They also took wins at five events that were all worth 500 points, including The MAJORS, CSG Grand Nationals, GLCC Grand Nationals, Nation's Choice Grand Nationals, and the ASC King of the Jungle Shaumburg Showdown. This success shows that Fever can definitely be a solid contender. This season, the opportunity to really jump ahead on the leaderboard standings will come from having 700 point Super National events on the schedule. 

Keep an eye out for the first look at GymTyme Illinois Fever at events like WSF Grand Nationals & Nation's Choice Grand Nationals. We are also super excited to see Fever in the L6 Senior XSmall Coed division at The MAJORS 2026 where they will aim to take home their third consecutive win! Be sure to keep an eye on the Leaderboard when it drops in early January, and continue to follow along with Fever all season right here on Varsity TV.
