The 2025 Nation’s Choice Dance Grand Championship & Cheer Showdown will bring the best young dancers and cheer teams to the Alliant Energy Center in Madison, Wisconsin.
The event will kick off with solo, duos, and trios action on Nov. 14 which is not being streamed on Varsity TV, but the weekend then belongs to the teams – dance teams will hit the stage Saturday, and cheer teams will steal the spotlight Sunday.
Nation’s Choice has been around since 2009, offering teams the chance to customize their competitive experiences, battle against the best and earn bids to the year’s most prestigious events – all while gaining experience and making memories.
Enjoy complete coverage of the event, as competitors of all skill levels go head-to-head with dance teams having their sights set on earnings bids to end-of-the-season events and cheer teams hoping to obtain points to The Varsity Cheer League!

What To Know About The Alliant Energy Center
In 2025, the Nation’s Choice Dance Grand Championship & Cheer Showdown heads to a new location, Alliant Energy Center, after spending the previous years at the NOW Arena in Hoffman Estates, Illinois.
The Alliant Energy Center features multiple buildings, including the 255,000 square-foot exhibition hall, a 10,000 seat Veterans Memorial Coliseum, and the 22,000 square-foot arena.
Each year, more than one million people attend over 500 events including major concerts and large sporting events.
