Once of the year's biggest school dance competitions is approaching, the 2026 UDA Division I & II National Dance Team Championship!
Mark your calendars for Jan. 30-Feb. 8, so you don't miss any of the action from the iconic ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex in Orlando, Florida.
The UDA National Dance Team Championship certainly will be a highlight of the inaugural DI National School Spirit Championships, which also will include the UCA DI National High School Cheerleading Championship and the DI National School Band Championship.
Participants in the Division I events come from schools with 1,400 or more students, while Division II features schools with enrollment of 1-1,399.
In order to give each division a fair amount of time in the spotlight, there will be two weekends of competition. The 2026 DII National School Spirit Championships will take place at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex from Jan. 30-Feb. 1 and feature the same three events.
About 300 high school dance teams are expected to take part in the 2026 NDTC, and all of the routines - pom, jazz, hip hop and game day - will be broadcast live on VarsityTV!

About The ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex
The 2026 UDA National Dance Team Championship is expected to bring some insane energy to the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex, part of the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida.
The multi-purpose sports complex is very familiar with elite cheer and dance competition, from youth through college, but the property also opens its doors for a variety of other sports and events, including soccer, football, field hockey, baseball and basketball.
The complex is over 220 acres and offers many activities and amenities for fans to enjoy throughout the day. Then, when the competition is done, guests can enjoy all the other amazing things Disney World has to offer.
For the weekend of the 2026 DII National School Spirit Championships, the complex will cater to all things dance, cheer and band, and performances will be held in six of the 10 different facilities that make up the complex: State Farm Field House, Athletic Center, AdventHealth Arena North (Yellow), AdventHealth Arena East (Blue), AdventHealth Arena South (Red), and AdventHealth Arena West (Green).

If you're boarding a plane for Orlando and Walt Disney World, you've already had a successful season, but there's still work to be done.
