Insider Info: 2025 NCA State Of Texas Regional

The National Cheerleaders Association might be the busiest organization in cheerleading so far this fall, with a dozen events across November and December.

Among them, is the 2025 NCA State of Texas Regional, which will be making a return trip to the familiar at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center in Dallas on Dec. 13, and Varsity TV will be there to provide live coverage of the event.

The venue has hosted many top-tier cheer and dance events in recent years, and the Big D never runs short on things to see and do when the teams aren’t on stage competing.

The NCA State of Texas Regional is one of almost 20 events on the NCA calendar for the 2025-2026 campaign, and that’s just for the school teams. NCA also facilitates another 20+ competitions for All Star squads.

Since 1948, NCA has been on the cutting edge of all things competitive cheerleading and lived by the motto “The Work Is Worth It.”

For more than 75 years, the organization has been focused on competition, camps/instruction and philanthropy, all geared toward helping participants become the best cheerleaders, leaders and people they can become.

Enjoy complete coverage of the event, as teams go head-to-head with their sights set on the coveted titles and potentially a spot in one of NCA’s prestigious end-of-season championships!

What To Know About The Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center

The Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center features a million square feet of exhibit space, three ballrooms, 88 meeting rooms, a 1,750-seat theater and a 9,816-seat arena, and it’s connected to a hotel with more than 1,000 rooms.

The venue has established itself as one of the premier, and busiest, destinations in the country by welcoming a variety of events. The list includes many types of conventions, meetings, concerts, competitions, sporting events and trade shows.

The 2025 NCA State of Texas Regional is one of many cheer events to be held within the halls of the facility, so there definitely will be some familiarity, and maybe even some comfort, in being back in the area.

The venue is so busy and so familiar that it actually will be hosting two other cheer events in December – Spirit Celebration Grand Nationals 2025 (Dec. 7) and the NCA Holiday Classic 2025 (Dec. 13-14).
