One of the most anticipated nights in all star cheer is returning to Indianapolis on Friday, January 16. One night... Eight divisions... The best teams in the world. It's time to gear up for The MAJORS 2026!

The MAJORS is an invitation-only event where the best Senior Level 6 teams in the world earn the opportunity to compete. The MAJORS first launched back in 2012, originally featuring just nine teams from All Girl and Coed divisions. Since then, the event has grown significantly. This season, 25 teams across eight divisions will take the stage. Here's a look at some storylines we're excited to keep an eye on this season: 

The MAJORS 2026: Storylines To Watch

1. Senior Large Faces Off For The First Time

The MAJORS 2026 is set to be the first Large All Girl battle of the season, with six teams competing in the prestigious division. Six teams are the most ever to compete in this division at The MAJORS. Fans are on the edge of their seats to see which team sets itself apart on this big stage so early in the season. We are also excited to see the two newcomers to the division: Central Jersey All Stars Bombshells competing at The MAJORS for the first time ever, and Woodlands Elite Generals, who will take the stage at The MAJORS for the first time in Large All Girl.

2. Teams Looking To Add To The History Books

Each season, it's always exciting & impressive to see which teams continue to add to their impressive win streaks at The MAJORS. Cheer Athletics Cheetahs is the most decorated team in MAJORS history with 10 total wins as a team. This season, they will aim to continue their legacy by adding number 11. Cheer Extreme has the most program wins with 15 total wins. They have the opportunity to extend that total by three this season with Cheer Extreme SSX, Cheer Extreme SMOEX, and Cheer Extreme Senior Elite aiming for wins.
