Tennessee Cheer returns to Walt Disney World and the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex in Orlando seeking another championship in the Division IA Game Day division.

The Vols have won national titles in the division in 2020, 2021 and 2024. Tennessee nearly won a fourth title in 2025 when they finished just behind South Florida for the championship. The Vols posted a score of 96.0667 to USF’s 96.7.

Always one of the favorites in one of the sport’s top competitions, the Vols will be in the running to win their fourth title in six years. But UT will not just vie for that title, but several others at Disney.

When Will Smokey Compete?

Mascots will compete on Saturday, Jan. 17, and that includes UT mascot Smokey. Smokey competes ninth on Saturday at 5:37 p.m. ET.

Who Is the Tennessee Cheer Coach?

Chelsea Bowlin is the cheer coach, while Rodney Arnold is the mascot coach.
