The top Division II school dance teams in the country are heading to the sunny Orlando, FL at the Walt Disney World Resort to wrap up the end of January's competitive schedule in the National Dance Team Championship DII.

As the only championship of its kind endorsed by the NFHS, NDTC's competitors reflect the highest standards through regional qualifiers and the championships.

In 2026, the event will take on a new format by splitting into two weekends separated by division. In addition to the new format, the event will fold into the National School Spirit Championships umbrella.

New this year is the Spirit Program Game Day Division which allows cheer, dance, and band programs to combine in a collaborative performance. They have the new opportunity to maximize school spirit by showcasing the sights and sounds of their authentic game day experience.
