High school bands from across the country have the chance to be a part of the vanguard of the newest competitive space in the marching arts at the all new National School Band Championship.

After trooping down to sunny Florida this week, bands will take the stage competing not only alongside their school's cheer and dance teams but also on their own. This gives them a chance to highlight the band's contributions to the game day experience while implementing a competitive element to school spirit.

The NSBC falls under the National School Spirit Championships over two weekends, adding to NDTC and NHSCC. Division II teams, from schools with less than 1399 students, will open the even Jan. 30-Feb. 1. Division I teams will compete on Feb. 6-8.

It all happens at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex and is streaming live on Varsity TV.

In order to qualify for the national championship, teams must have earned a bid at a 2025 or 2026 qualifying UCA Regional event.
