USA Spirit Nationals & USA Collegiate Championships will takeover Anaheim, CA. for an eventful cheer and dance weekend at the Anaheim Convention Center starting Feb.19. 

USA Spirit Nationals began in 1986 with the goal of bringing together competitors in a variety of categories – cheerleading, song/pom, pep flag, mascot and more.

The week in Anaheim will be a busy one, and the fun won’t stop.

Having all of the action happening at the same time and place offers a terrific opportunity for young competitors and up-and-coming talent to see what things are like at the next level, and you won’t want to miss a minute of the excitement.

USA Collegiate Championships

The USA Collegiate Championships began in 1997 to bring teams from community colleges and universities together to compete on one stage. 

A portion of the weekend includes competitors in cheer, dance and mascoting from community colleges and four-year schools from all corners of the country. 

Almost 1,000 student-athletes will compete across 15 divisions, while also getting the chance to showcase their skills for the high school teams in town for USA Spirit Nationals.

This event is open to all collegiate teams, with no pre-qualification necessary. Competition will take place Saturday and Sunday. 

What To Know About The Anaheim Convention Center 

Two events – USA Spirit Nationals & USA Collegiate Championships – will bring thousands of athletes and their guests back to the Anaheim Convention Center in 2026.

As the largest convention center on the West Coast, the venue regularly welcomes a variety of events, including meetings, shows, exhibitions, competitions and sporting events. 

The facility, opened in 1967, now reaches across more than 50 acres and features 1.8 million square feet of event space, thanks to a recent $190 million expansion. 

Additional meeting and exhibition space can be found at one of the four nearby hotels. There are more than 3,700 hotels rooms, and visitors can walk everywhere!
