The All Star Championships Dance Grand Nationals & Cheer Nationals kicks off the 2026 edition of the competition in Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin. The action will take place at the Kalahari Resort and will begin Saturday, Feb. 21- Sunday, Feb. 22.

The event will include routines in cheer and elite dance teams, and will include prep/novice teams then dance solos/duos/trios. ASCS will provide an unforgettable experience for competitors, coaches and supporters all weekend long.

What To Know About The Kalahari Resort

Wisconsin’s Kalahari Resort offers far more than just a competition venue for the All Star cheer and dance teams, as it’s a full-service vacation destination that happens to include meeting and convention facilities.

Is there a better way to compete, make friends and enjoy away the winter blues?

For the cheerleaders and their guests, the prime location means non-stop fun for the weekend. 

The facility combines one of the nation’s largest indoor waterparks with an African theme. There are four such properties across the country.

Guests will get to enjoy the water activities (202,000 square feet of waterpark), family entertainment centers, spas, restaurants and, of course, space to get on stage and compete. The convention space alone is 215,000 square feet with plans for growth. 

Since everything is under one roof, including 1,000 guest rooms, there’s no need to even venture outside to endure the Wisconsin weather as winter approaches.

The Varsity Cheer League

The Varsity Cheer League is the official ranking system for the sport of All Star cheerleading, changing the conversation from “Who won the weekend?” to “Who ranks at the top this season?”

Every all star elite team in Youth, Junior & Senior divisions will be included in the Varsity Cheer League.

Team rankings are determined by the points system displayed here. At each Varsity All Star event your team competes, your team will earn points based on the assigned event and placement point value.

At the end of the season, your six best Varsity All Star event scores will be used to calculate your final rank.

In total, 128 winners will be recognized from first to third place across each region. 

One champion will be crowned in each of the five regions across the eight eligible divisions and two League 6 conferences, meaning 42 championships will be awarded in total. Champions will win cash and prizes!
