What To Know About The Oregon Convention Center
PacWest Grand Nationals makes another trip to Portland, Oregon, and the Oregon Convention Center in 2026, and the City of Roses is one destination competitors and their guests always seem to enjoy.
The Oregon Convention Center includes multiple ballrooms, more than 255,000 square feet of uninterrupted exhibition space, more than 50 meeting rooms and VIP suites. Plus, the venue underwent a $40 million renovation that was completed in 2019. The project was the first major update to the 30-year-old facility.
A big part of the renovations focused on the convention center’s outdoor plaza, filled with gardens, seating, room for countless outdoor events – even just a nice spot for lunch.

Part of the allure of the Pacific Northwest is the picturesque views and all there is to enjoy outdoors, though the weather in late February may not always be ideal. If that’s the case, there are many museums and galleries and other indoor activities to keep visitors entertained.
If you can get to some of the trails and maybe see some mountains and waterfalls, don’t miss the chance. Maybe take a dinner cruise? A craft beer tour? Ghost tour? Maybe just keep it close to downtown and see the city’s historic sights. The possibilities are endless!
When it’s time to eat, the area has an amazing food scene, including the Portland food halls.
