The Universal Cheerleaders Association plants its flag in the Northeast with the 2026 UCA Northeast Regional at the CURE Insurance Arena in Trenton, New Jersey, on Nov. 22

Cheer teams from around the region will take the mat for championship titles, and Varsity TV will stream all of the action live.

Founded in 1974, UCA has spent more than five decades combining the motivation and excitement of cheerleading with the entertainment of high-level skills.

The organization produces regional events across the country every season, and this Northeast stop gives programs in in the tri-state area and beyond a close-to-home stage on which to compete.

About The Event & Venue

Regional competitions like this one are a cornerstone of the UCA season — a full day of high-energy performances where teams collect valuable mat time, feedback and momentum on the road to UCA's marquee end-of-season championships. Expect crowd-leading material, elite skills, and plenty of hometown support in the stands.

The CURE Insurance Arena is a 250,000-square foot facility that opened its doors in 1999 and can fit up to 10,000 people for a variety of events, including concerts by top recording artists, basketball, hockey, monster trucks and more.

Take a virtual walk through the arena and see what it looked like during some of its transformations.
