Southern California: home of the nation’s best beaches, wealthiest celebs and now . . . The USA All Star Championships!
Things are about to get heated, and not just from the California sun.
With the championships taking place in the heart of downtown LA, there’s sure to be plenty of action on and off the mat. Here’s what you can expect at this year’s championships:
Classic California diversity. Teams need not pre-qualify to compete at the USA All-Star Championships – that means you can expect to see every type of team represented. Big gyms, small gyms, you name it. Anyone who’s anyone will be there. That said, there are strict bid eligibility requirements, so there will be no shortage of highly-competitive teams present.
Bids, bids, and more bids! Has your team committed to the climb? The Summit climb, that is. Or perhaps you’re hoping for a bid to Cheer or Dance worlds. Either way, top teams will earn their invites here. In fact, over 50 bids will be given at this competition, an unparalleled amount for a single event.
West Coast Style. Usually, the Southeast gets the most attention when it comes to cheer. But, the West Coast has its own vibe to contribute to the competition scene. You won't want to miss the opportunity to see the West Coast’s visual, fast-paced choreography style. It’s truly unlike any other championship.
Innovative Event Production. USA is the company behind the first American football half-time shows in Japan, England, Germany, Spain, Australia and Mexico. The bottom line? They know how to put on an event fit for a rock star.
Celebrity roots. Several famous faces started at USA – Paula Abdul, Teri Hatcher and Sabrina Bryan (of the Cheetah Girls) started on USA Staff. Put simply, USA events are often the stepping stone to major success.
Want to see the action for yourself? Tune into Varsity.tv next weekend – we’re streaming the championship Live!
We love L.A. and know you will, too! We’ll see you March 12 & 13 at the Los Angeles Convention Center. #USAallstar
