It’s a gift that’s almost unheard of in the cheer and dance industry: High School Spirit and Dance Championships in the same weekend! If you LOVE cheer and dance and want to be in the center of the action, this exclusive Varsity.tv event is for you.

There will be so much to watch at the USA Spirit and Dance National Championships, we can hardly fit everything into one article. This mega-event is one of the largest of its kind in the country, highlighting the skills of thousands of athletes as they take the floor to share their talent, hard work, energy and enthusiasm.

This weekend will feature over 1,000 performances from teams representing over 300 schools. Over 10,000 cheerleaders, dance team members, songleaders, mascots and pep flag twirlers will take the stage.

Think you’ve already seen it all when it comes to high school spirit championships? Think again. USA Spirit Nationals features one-of-a-kind GameTime and Crowdleader divisions that you won’t see at any other championship. In the Crowdleader division, teams must respond to a game situation. Add the school fight song and the routine is complete! You can’t help but feel a rush when you see a school’s whole program take the floor for a high-energy performance unlike any other. The GameTime division is divided into three categories: Time-Out Cheer; Fight Song; and Time-Out Dance. These divisions give teams who don’t traditionally compete a chance to show how they rule the field and lead the crowds at their schools.



The best part? Varsity.tv will be there to stream the action LIVE, so you can enjoy Spirit and Dance Nationals all weekend long. Spirit Nationals will begin streaming from the Arena Friday, March 18th and will continue through Sunday, March 20. Dance will stream FINALS in the Main Arena on Saturday, March 19th beginning at 7:15pm PDT.
