There’s only a little over a week left until The Summit, Varsity All Star’s Cheerleading Championship. Teams from far and wide have committed to the climb and will make the voyage to Walt Disney World ® Resort next weekend to bring their best to the mat. 

Varsity.tv has the inside scoop on The Summit and everything your team needs to know to get excited. Read on to see how well you really know The Summit: 

This is the fourth year of The Summit, and it’s getting bigger and better than ever before. 

Only 10% of teams receive a bid, making this championship one of the toughest and most selective in the all star industry.

This is the second year of The Dance Summit, meaning that the nation’s best dance teams will be there to rock it out at the World Showplace Pavilion in Epcot®. 

Over 900 teams are competing, including teams from the USA and around the world! Last year was the first year the competition had an international following with teams from Canada, Germany and Japan in attendance.  

There are over 40 different divisions, meaning there’s a chance for competitors of all ages and skill levels to make an impression on the mat.
