The little girl experiencing Summer Camp for the first time. The boy who’s new to town and feels right at home on his team. The senior that has one year left and a legacy to leave.  

Every cheerleader has a story. And regardless of where they’ve been, what they’ve conquered and where they’re going – they have something in common. They possess a heart that is meant for good and a character that is destined to lead. And when their efforts are multiplied, they make the world a brighter place.

In an effort to highlight the journeys of Summer Camp participants, the National Cheerleaders Association has created a digital project that brings the experience to life. At every camp session, NCA Staff is asked to take photos of their Buddy teams in groups of 4-5. Campers hold hands and wear cheerful smiles. 

Now – for the fun part! After the photos are collected, they’re uploaded and linked into a horizontal scroll on www.togetherwecheer.com. Campers are encouraged to visit the site to view themselves, their fellow campers and even their Buddies! But it doesn’t stop there. Each photo can be shared to personal social media accounts, with a direct link back to the site. 

Together We Cheer allows for the stories of countless athletes to be shared and accessed for years to come. And eventually, cheerleaders will be holding hands all around the world.
