Saying "thank you" would be an understatement. I will never be able to repay my team, my coach, my Clemson family, or my actual family for the love and support they all have given me over the past four years. I always say that coming to Clemson was hands down the best decision I have ever made. Clemson is such a special place that has shaped me into the person I am today. I cannot even begin to express how much I've grown here and how much I love this community. I wake up every day proud to be a Clemson Tiger.

To my team:

I adore and love each of you more than you know. The love and determination you have shown this year is so contagious and inspiring. I will definitely be a ball of emotions cheering my last game in Death Valley with y'all. First off, I want to personally say thank you for making my last year of cheering one of my favorites. "This team is so special" is something we have said since Work Week in the summer, and it still rings true today. I know how much you care for each other and it warms my heart to see how much of a family we truly are. In just one year, every single one of you has grown and excelled not just in cheerleading but also in life.  I also want to say thank you for letting me be your captain this year and for being so faithful through the ups and the downs this season. I am so proud of all of you and cannot wait to come back in the future and see the continued progress.

To my coach:

Coach, you were an answered prayer. You have not only been my coach for the past four years, but you have also been a role model. The kindness and love you show constantly to everyone around you is so inspiring. No matter if I came to you about cheer or just needed to talk about life, you were always there to listen and encourage me, and for that I am so grateful. You have done so much for this cheer program, and I know that there is only more to come.  Thank you for giving me my most treasured college experience.

To the Clemson family:

Clemson family = Clemson fans. Win or lose, I know your blood runs orange, which is so evident by your unwavering love and support to the Tigers. Cheering in Death Valley would not have been the same if it weren't for you all. I have cheered in a lot of stadiums over the past four years, but none of them compare to Death Valley. I will never forget the first game I ever cheered my freshmen year, when we played the University of Georgia and hosted College Game Day. I still get goose bumps when I think about it--looking up into the stands and watching a sea of orange welcome their Tigers as they ran down the Hill, the perfect picture of a family welcoming their boys home. I also remember the first time you lit up the stadium with flashlights on your phones during the fourth quarter like it was yesterday. I stood on the sidelines in awe of your passion and unity. Now, every time the fourth quarter comes along, I get chills and just take in the view. But the thing I love most is that whether it is game day or not, you truly exemplify what it means to be a Clemson Tiger.  The hospitably and kindness here is like nowhere else. Thank you for welcoming me with open arms and giving me the best four years of my life. There truly is "something in these hills." And thank you to all the little Tiger fans who warmed my heart over the years by wanting hugs, autographs, pictures and my time. It has truly been my honor and privilege to be a role model for all of you. Thank you for loving me and inspiring me with those excited eyes and adorable smiles. Remember to always live out your dreams and try your hardest to do what you love because nothing compares to the pure joy it brings you.

To my mom and dad:

Sweet parents, thank you for all your love and support you have always shown me though my cheerleading career. Thank you for taking me to countless practices, competitions, and back! I would not be where I am today it wasn't for you two. As my cheerleading career comes to a close, I just want to thank you both for being my cheerleaders through life. I love you dearly.
