The University of Kentucky Wildcats have arrived in CAT-lanta for CHEERSPORT Nationals and they are ready to compete for their 10th straight CHEERSPORT National Title. White Squad Head Coach Ryan Brown commented,
With this program and squad, the grind truly never stops. There was not an offseason or period of relaxation.
The Wildcats kicked their CHEERSPORT preparation into high gear as soon as they finished their Fall 2016 finals. When most students head home for the holidays, Kentucky Cheer begins their two-a-day grind to finalize the skills and choreography of their routine.
Blue Squad started the season off with a bang taking home their 22nd National Title at the UCA College Cheerleading and Dance Team National Championship in Orlando, FL.
Brown said the hardest part of their preparation was keeping their team healthy and turning a college routine into an all-star routine. "Luckily we have been able to practice at Premier Athletics Lexington to be able to get used to a spring floor." Said Brown.
Keeping with the Kentucky standard, we hold ourselves to absolute responsibility in a training."I think what sets us apart is the uniform look of our performance." Said Brown. "The attention to detail of what everyone one does at the exact same time is what truly separates us."
Kentucky Cheerleading never disappoints so you can expect an action packed two and a half minutes that is sure to entertain the crowd.
