MUST WATCH: Team Performance Division At NDA Nationals!

The Team Performance division is a unique style of routine that can only be found at NDA High School Nationals. NDA's main philosophy is to encourage well-rounded dancing. Teams competing in this special division display their overall talent by combining four different genres of dance into one routine.

Jazz, pom, hip hop and kick style elements are all choreographed into the Team Performance routine, creating diversity and flow within one performance. Teams that execute Team Performance flawlessly, perform each genre equally so the flow of the overall routine is equal throughout.

Transitioning from each section can be difficult; the natural change from each genre is what the judges are looking for. Well executed and choreographed routines seamlessly flow from style to style in no particular order.

The Small and Large Varsity divisions competed in prelims on Day 1 and the teams advancing will compete in finals on after the day 2 preliminary rounds are complete. Medium Varsity prelims kick off today at 12:40 PM EST.

Sachem North High School confidently took the stage in prelims and nailed their routine! Their music and costume choices complimented their well executed choreography.
