Legendary Athletics swept the competition at One Up in Atlanta this past weekend! Going into the competition, their main goal was to put on 11 amazing performances so that they could see the routines on stage one more time before heading to The Summit in Orlando, FL, on May 5-7!

Gym owner Dana Evancoe told us that prior to heading to Atlanta, they made several changes to all of the routines from past judges' critiques and comments on score sheets at previous events:

Our goal was to have all changes and skills perfected and finalized by this competition so we could really be confident and ready for The Summit!

Five out of the 11 teams received specialty awards at the competition.

Legendary has a busy month ahead of them! In addition to the eight teams that will be competing at The Summit, three of their teams will be competing at The Dance Worlds, and their junior elite hip hop team will be representing the United States at ICU as the first-ever U.S. Junior National Hip Hop Team!

How will Legendary be celebrating every team bringing home a national championship title? They plan on buying a LARGE broom, and every athlete from the 11 championship-winning teams sign the broom!  

It will forever hang on the wall in the gym as a reminder of all the hard work and dedication that went into the clean sweep!

Legendary will be working very hard to prepare for The Summit! They have competed against some of the best teams in the nation this season, which has pushed and challenged the entire program to work harder! Evancoe says that Legendary Athletics will continue to clean and work on conditioning, so that they will be able to put on their best performances of the year!
