It's year 2 of The D2 Summit and we are so excited for the weekend to begin! The D2 Summit was originally located in Tampa, FL but is now held in Orlando at the ESPN Wide World of Sports. The D2 Summit is a special event in the fact that it is exclusively for gyms 125 and under.


It's the final event of the all star season settle in and get ready for the show. Here is everything you need to know so you can watch the competition like a pro!

This weekend 13,970 athletes will walk through the gates at the ESPN Wide World of Sports in the hopes of taking home the championship title. That's an incredible 780 teams representing 46 of the 50 states.


​The weekend will kick off Friday with the Wild Card Competition. 1st and 2nd place Wild Card teams will advance straight through to Finals on Sunday and 3rd place Wild Card teams will move on to compete Saturday in the Semi-Finals portion of the competition. 

Want to know the chances of your favorite team advancing on to Finals? Here is the breakdown!

All divisions with 10 teams or less in Semi Finals will have 5 teams advance to finals. 

Divisions with 11-19 teams in Semi Finals will have 50% of the division advance to finals. 

Lastly, divisions with 20 or more teams in Semi-Finals will have 10 teams in the division advance to finals.

Varsity TV will be streaming all 5 performance and awards venues all weekend long including the HP Field House, J Center, Arena North, Arena South and the Sports Pavilion.
