Small Gym, Big Dreams: Trilogy Cheer
Trilogy Cheer, Michigan's original all star program, is a small gym with big dreams.
In its 23rd season as Michigan's original all star program, Trilogy Cheer is showing no sign of slowing down. Trilogy is a small gym with big dreams that keeps its athletes focused on improving their skills while growing their love for the sport.
Angela Trombley-Goralski, director and founder of Trilogy Cheer, helped start Michigan's first special athlete team, The Pride of Trilogy, which just concluded its 10th season and was the first special athlete team chosen to perform at The U.S. Finals.
"We turned our focus to rebuilding and remaining a healthy, happy environment," Trombley-Goralski said.
In 2014, Trilogy had 32 athletes in the program and had an undefeated season, winning UCA All Star with two teams; J2 team and the Littles. As the program's success grew, so did the dreams and the desire to compete at the next level.
However, being a small gym, Trilogy didn't have competing at The Summit worked into the budget.
"We told the parents we could go but only on a paid bid," Trombley-Goralski said. "We had one competition left, and that was ACP Midwest Nationals in Columbus, Ohio."
According to the bid declaration, Trilogy was only eligible for two of the four paid bids, and it had two squads competing for those bids.
"I felt something special all along and just knew in my gut we could be highly successful, and they proved me right," Trombley-Goralski said. "Our Senior Coed 3 team just came from the wild card round and went all the way to win The Summit!"

Ten of Trilogy's Senior Coed 3 athletes were on the 2014 Summit team and now have two championship rings! Trilogy Cheer will continue to build and improve year after year. Their athletes have been able to accomplish every goal they have ever set, so you can expect big things in their future. Congrats to all The Summit athletes from Trilogy Cheer!

We've always been a small gym and were Michigan's first Senior All Girl team to earn back to back World's bids (2010 and 2011).Trilogy Cheer's gym has been in a rebuilding phase lately, and the program is currently without a Worlds team. However, it is jam-packed with hardworking athletes.

We caught lightning in a bottle and earned BOTH paid bids we were eligible for...we were off to The Summit!"Littles were in first out of prelims at The Summit and ended up winning it all! We were so proud of our kids who never gave up!" Trombley-Goralski said.
We have remained a D2 sized gym with a D1 mentality.Trombley-Goralski said this season was one of Trilogy's toughest and the program had many obstacles to overcome.
