215 Varsity team members in 19 cities across the country stepped up to help raise money for St. Jude. As a National Team, Varsity had over 320 individual donations during the month of September to raise an incredible $17,608!
Cheerleaders are some of the most supportive athletes around. Showing and rallying support for a team is what we do, so when it comes to chipping in for a good cause, we go all in!
September was Childhood Cancer Awareness month, and the Varsity Brands joined together to make a big impact.
Two hundred fifteen Varsity team members in 19 cities across the country stepped up to help raise money for St. Jude. As a national team, Varsity had over 320 individual donations during the month of September which raised an incredible $17,608!
The latest St. Jude Walk/Run to End Childhood Cancer was held in Memphis, Tennessee, at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, and the race included 55 Varsity team members who raised $3,825 of the race's total $735,300.
Since 2011, the Team Up for St. Jude Spirited by Varsity program has carried the St. Jude message into schools and communities across the country -- through game days, donation letters, and online fundraising. Varsity has raised about $4.5M so far for St. Jude -- and that number grows every day!
