Jersey Girls Hope To Take The Top Spot At UDA Nationals

The Jersey Girls are back at the 2018 UDA National Dance Team Championship and they delivered an exceptional routine in the Senior Pom Small - A division that they hope will earn them the championship title.

After losing an athlete to the flu and having to rework their routine completely just two days before nationals, this group of girls took this challenge head-on and executed a routine to remember.

This unique team is only practices 45 minutes a week together so they are accustomed to accomplishing big tasks in a short amount of time.

Coach Ashley Doyle couldn’t be more proud of her girls,

"Every single time we challenge them to do something they simply say ‘okay’ and do it.”

With such a strong willpower to be successful, it’s no surprise that these girls dance with flawless timing and technique in their turn combinations. Their ability to transpire their love for dance into the audience helped make this squad stand out among the rest.

The girls not only work to overcome obstacles together, but they are also each other's biggest fans. Before the girls compete they have a 'pump up chant' that they do to ignite the excitement and continue to spread the motivation like wildfire using their 'code words' to cheer each other on during their performance.

The Jersey Girl Allstars put on an amazing performance in today’s competition and after a great second place finish in 2017, they hope to be move up to the top spot this weekend.
