After four weeks of tumbling skills challenges, the top tumbling athletes have been crowned as the 2019 Varsity All Star Level Legacy Champions! Athletes of all ages competed in level-specific challenges, and the Level 5 2019 Varsity All Star Level Legacy Champion is Carter Kingery from Wisconsin Storm Elite All Stars.

Meet Level Legacy Champion: Carter Kingery

Carter’s interest in tumbling began when he was 8 years old and his grandparents bought a trampoline. Carter was first introduced to cheer when his older sister joined her high school competitive cheerleading team. 

“I was glued to my seat watching the skills and stunts of the different teams as they would take the mat. After that, I became even more interested in tumbling and wanted to learn more. I started working on things at home with my sister and some of her teammates, and it wasn't long before I knew that I wanted to try competitive cheer.”

Shortly after, Carter hung up his wrestling shoes, picked up some cheer shoes, and joined Wisconsin Storm Elite All-Stars. He went to her first competition when he was 10 and was immediately hooked. 

Carter is now in his fourth season of cheer with Wisconsin Storm Elite All-Stars.

Biggest Cheer Accomplishments:

Carter had a successful 2018-19 season with Wisconsin Storm Elite!

His Junior Level 3 team won first place at the UCA International All Star Championship in Orlando, Florida. In March, Carter was named a finalist for Battle In The Arena 2019. And most recently, Carter was named the Level 5 Champion for Varsity All Star Level Legacy 2019!

Carter’s favorite tumbling pass is a Round Off, Full and a Half, Step Out, Round Off, Full, Whip, Double Full.

What Carter Is Most Excited For At Battle In The Arena 2020:

“I am excited for the opportunity to return to Battle in The Arena for a second year and to continue making new friendships will all kinds of tumblers and athletes that are just as passionate about tumbling as I am.”
