5 Must-Watch Teams At UCA Smoky Mountain

The UCA Smoky Mountain Championship is one of the very first live-streamed events of the season, and teams are prepared to put on a show. 

If you want a first look at some of the talent you will see vying for titles at the UCA National High School Cheerleading Championship, the UCA International All Star Championship, and The Summit & D2 Summit 2020, then look no further than Sevierville, Tennessee.

Here are five teams we think you should add to your watch list at UCA Smoky Mountain!

1. The Stingray Allstars UV 

After falling short of the title at the 2018 UCA Smoky Mountain Championship, the UV Rays conquered the climb and the top spot in the Senior Medium Level 4.2 division at The Summit 2019. You can watch the Georgia team start their season LIVE in Tennesee right here on Varsity TV!

2. Madison Central High School

Madison Central High School is the reigning UCA Game Day National Champions, and the Kentucky team will start their journey to another championship title at the UCA Smoky Mountain Championship. The Indians showcased a spirited and visual routine to win the top spot in Orlando, and we can't wait to see how they bring their sideline traditions to the competition mat this year.

3. Corbin High School

The Hounds are headed south to Tennessee to take the mat and start their season at the UCA Smoky Mountain Championship. Corbin won nationals in 2018 in the Medium Varsity division, and the Kentucky team is on a mission to reclaim their title this season.

4. Memphis Cheer Blue Diamonds

Memphis Cheer's Senior Level 5 team, Blue Diamonds, made it to Finals in 2019 at The D2 Summit and they have a goal of winning big on their next trip to Orlando. 5. Pikeville High School

Pikeville High School has been a powerhouse team in the Small Varsity division over the last decade. The Panthers won back-to-back titles in 2016, 2017, and 2018. They fell short of their goal in 2019 but don't count them. Watch the Kentucky team make their season debut LIVE on Varsity TV!

The Energizers Dance Team is known for their incredible performances and top placements every year in the Pom category. The Hartford, Wisconsin team creates unique visuals through uniforms, music, and choreography that entertains the crowd and earns them championship titles.

13 Stingray Teams Head Into Day 2 On Top At UCA

The Stingray Allstars had an incredible Day 1 at the 2019 UCA Smoky Mountain Championship in Sevierville, Tennessee. 13 teams from the program are leading their division and all 18 teams finished Day 1 within the top 5 in their division.
