Memphis Cheer Blue Diamonds Work For A Perfect Hit At UCA

It’s Day 2 of the 2019 UCA Smoky Mountain Championship and six teams from Memphis Cheer have their eyes on a championship title and a bid to The D2 Summit.

The Senior Level 5 team from Memphis Cheer, Blue Diamonds, have already secured a Wild Card bid but they are hoping to continue to improve their skills and bring home the first-place trophy tonight.

“Blue Diamonds have an exciting routine with lots of transitions and non-stop action,” shared gym owner, Chad Odle. “We keep striving to make the stunt and pyramid skills harder. We have really focused on cleaning up our technique in our jumps and tumbling sections this year.”

Blue Diamonds had a strong performance on Day 1 and currently leads the division with a score of 95.7833. They are hoping to get that perfect hit when they take the mat tonight.
