Stingray All Stars Green: Routine Breakdown

The Stingray All Stars Green, also known as your reigning Summit Champions, took the mat at the 2019 All Star Challenge: Battle Under The Big Top! Green was in first place, also tied with Crush, going into Day 2 in the Level 6 Large Junior Coed division with a zero deduction routine, but today they came up just short to Crush, finishing the competition in second.

But the season is only beginning for the incredibly talented team. The crowd was going wild as the powerhouse team stepped out on the mat, and The Stingray All Stars Green didn’t disappoint!

The team started off by throwing six high flying baskets that set the bar high for the remainder of their routine. Multiple athletes threw standing fulls before moving into more powerful tumbling!

Green then showcased their jumps to tuck that transitioned into their first squad stunt of the routine. Eight groups did back a back roll to prone position, then transitioned into a new formation before popping the stunt through. The top girls pulled a stretch towards the front that was followed by a high to high stretch tick tock. The groups then executed a low to high tick tock pulling an arabesque that dropped to a teddy bear position.

But the stunt sequence isn’t over yet! From the teddy bear, the stunt groups popped up to a prep that finished the sequence with a one and a half around to immediate stretch and a kick full dismount.

The athletes moved towards the front of the mat with fun choreography and threw even more impressive standing tumbling! A quick pyramid structure was build on the right side of the floor with more creative choreography on the left. This transitioned the team into their running tumbling section.

From corner to corner, the Large Junior Coed Level 6 team wowed the crowd once again! Three toss stunts went up across the back of the floor and then the team began their pyramid. The structures were fast paced and full of energy!

After dismounting from the final structure, Green topped their routine off with a crow pleasing dance that had everyone on their feet.

The Stingray All Stars Green is back this season and looking for a back-to-back title at The Summit. Can they do it? Be sure to follow the well-known team throughout the season!
