The Most Spirited Weekend Is Here!

USA Spirit Nationals began in 1984, bringing together competitors from the cheerleading, song/pom, mascot, and pep flag activities.

Over 7,500 competitors and nearly 15,000 spectators are expected over this fun-filled and exciting weekend, vying for the Champion title in one over 50 different divisions. This competition is unique for the variety of teams it brings together, unifying all types of spirit teams under one roof.

One of the must-watch divisions of the weekend is USA’s trademark “Crowdleader® Team” division.

The Crowdleader® Team division focuses on UNITING a school's spirit squad into one high-energy performance! In true “United” Spirit Association fashion, teams have the option of having their whole program on the floor together for a dynamic performance showcasing both Varsity and Junior Varsity, the cheerleaders, song/pom, dance, pep flags as well as mascots and drum majors.

In 2019, Agoura High School from Agoura Hills, California, took home the coveted title in this exciting division.

Most cheerleaders and dancers join a team at a young age just looking for a hobby or an afterschool activity. But after years of practicing, conditioning, long game days, and competition weekends, these athletes look back on the hours spent with their teammates and realize that cheer and dance taught them a lot more than just the skills they learned on the mat.
