The NDA Dance National Championship is moving to a new venue in 2020! Dancers will take over The Caribe Royale Orlando this spring for their chance at championship title and jacket.

The Caribe Royale Orlando spans across 60 acres and is located just minutes from the Walt Disney World® Resort.

Get Ready For Game Day At NDA

You learned it at camp and perfected it on the sidelines — now it’s time to showcase your school traditions and compete in the NDA Game Day division!

Teams will have the opportunity to take the floor for a total of three minutes to perform a Fight Song, Spirit Raising Performance, and Performance Routine. Scoring is focused on synchronization, execution of movement, overall impression, game day material, audience connection, crowd interaction, and choreography.

The Fight Song section should contain skills and choreography that represents a traditional fight song teams perform at games and within the community.

The Spirit Raising section should have an emphasis on crowd appeal. These routines are intended for quick, spur-of-the-moment Game Day situations such as downtime in between plays or a pause in the game.

The Performance Routine section should showcase the team’s energy and connection to the crowd with a routine designed for entertainment in either Jazz, Pom, Hip Hop or Kick or any combination of these styles. This section is choreographed to a specific piece of music – band music or popular music is up to the team to choose.
