When one gym can bring home five CHEERSPORT National Championship titles in the same year, it’s a dream come true, and for a cheerleading gym in Baton Rouge, this dream became a reality.

Louisiana Cheer Force brought seven teams to the 2020 CHEERSPORT Nationals in Atlanta, Georgia, and five of those teams brought home a national championship title. These teams included Sapphire in Youth Prep 2.2, Diamonds in Small Youth 2, Ruby Red in Medium Youth 2, Fire in International Junior Coed 4, and Twilight in the International Open 4 division.

“It was exhilarating to have so many of our teams do so well,” said coach Joshua Sanchez. “To finally see all of our athlete’s hard work pay off, as well as our own is hard to even describe.”

Louisiana Cheer Force gym owner Rachel Pearson described this feeling as incredible.

“Everyone works so hard and to see not only one, but five teams take home the gold is incredibly rewarding.” - Rachel Pearson

Three of these CHEERSPORT Nationals champions are headed to the second stop on the road to the Varsity Triple Crown this weekend at the 2020 NCA All-Star Nationals in Dallas, Texas. One of those teams includes Ruby Red, who knows how it truly feels to prove “The Work Is Worth It” as they have won three NCA All-Star National Championship titles in the past.

This is the first year that Louisiana Cheer Force is bringing teams to both CHEERSPORT and NCA All-Star and the program is set to have nine of their talented teams taking the mat in Dallas. Coach Peyton Gunn said the gym’s CHEERSPORT wins were just the motivation they needed for this weekend.

“We all want that amazing feeling of winning again.” - Peyton Gunn

With two bids to The Cheerleading Worlds and nine bids to The Summit already secured for this season, Louisiana Cheer Force is a gym to watch!
