The TCElite Diamonds will make history as the very first team to take the competition mat at the inaugural Quest Recreational Championship in Orlando, Florida!
TCElite is a brand-new gym in Sonoma County, California, and their Diamonds are set to compete in the L2 Performance Rec - Small - 14Y (NON) division bright and early at 9 AM ET in Arena East.
The talented team originally received an At-Large Bid to The Quest at USA Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk Spirit Competition.
“It was a very special moment for all athletes and coaches to be of the first teams to receive a bid to The Quest,” said coach Thereasa Gravley. “The girls had been working really hard for Santa Cruz and their goal as a team was to receive a bid, and they did. We then won a Full Paid Bid at GSSA which made us all cry with excitement and pride for the amount of work that was put into their routine.”
With a Paid Bid secured the Diamonds are ready to leave it all out on the stage in the Sunshine State.
“We are looking forward to having a similar experience like all stars gyms do with The Summit and The Cheerleading Worlds,” added Gravley. “We are so excited to see the girls compete in a high level of competition and being able to compete with teams around the country.”
Since earning a bid back in October of 2019, the TCElite Diamonds have been working hard to make sure they achieve all their goals in Orlando.
“The determination and hard work these 13 girls put into every inch of their routine is unlike anything I could imagine. You can expect a very close group of girls who are determined, motivated, and great athletes supporting one another on and off the mat.”
Gravley added that their goal for The Quest is to have an amazing experience, hit their routine, and create memories that will last a lifetime.
Be sure to tune in to Varsity TV this Friday at 9 AM ET to cheer on the TCElite Diamonds as they kick off the first-ever Quest Recreational Championship!
