Many of college and high school cheer teams across the nation took on the 2020 season with incredible routines! Teams that took home their first ever national title, went back-to-back and won some of the hardest divisions at their championship all took the mat. Let's reminisce back on seven incredible moments that we will never forget from this season!
University of Central Florida
Division IA Coed
The hometown school kept the national title in Orlando, Florida for the first time since 2007, making this their third-ever national title in the DIA Coed division! The University of Central Florida also took home a title in 2003. The University of Tennessee claimed their first-ever national championship title in the game day division at the 2020 UCA & UDA College Cheerleading & Dance Team National Championship! Brandon High School from Brandon, Mississippi was the hot topic after the 2020 NCA High School Nationals. Not only did the team claim back-to-back national titles, but they secured Grand Champion and received the highest score out of all teams that weekend.
