UCA National Champions Kick Start Their Season At Camp
Minnetonka Cheer took part in a UCA Home Camp this month to practice and perfect their skills and get ready for game day.
The Minnetonka High School cheerleaders are the reigning 2020 UCA National Champions in the Medium Varsity Non Tumbling division and they are looking stronger than ever as they get set for the 2021 season.
Tonka Cheer took part in a UCA Home Camp this month to practice and perfect their skills and get ready for game day.
After camp, the Skippers put their skills on display in Varsity TV's Home Camp Showcase. Teams participating in a UCA Home Camp are invited to upload videos of their game day routine, fight song, cheer, band chant, and rally routine skills on Varsity TV to display their talent and spirit across the nation.
In Minnetonka's cheer, you can see that the Minnesota team worked hard on their ability to lead a crowd on the ground and in the air, their incorporation of props, and their overall school spirit.
Minnetonka also uploaded a video of their Rally Routine which is a camp favorite! The Rally Routine includes several eight counts of dance taught by the UCA Staff and skill incorporation.
Tonka Cheer opened up their Rally routine with beautiful jumps before transitioning into their dance and ending with a creative pyramid.
