In just two short weeks, the release of It's Game Day: NC State will be released during the 2020 Cheerleader's Choice: School Spirit Spotlight live reveal. Let's meet one of the Small Coed Captains who you'll see in the new documentary! 

Madison Hunt is originally from Cheshire, Connecticut and recently graduated from North Carolina State University. Cheerleading was a part of her life for 16 years, and four of those years belong to NC State! But Hunt says the Wolfpack spirit program is more to her than just four years of cheerleading.

"Without this program, I wouldn't have been able to challenge myself whether it was my skillset, leadership skills, or mental toughness," said Hunt. "I was able to compete and win in competitions that I never imagined possible for me going into college. I was able to compete with the US National All Girl Team, competed at UCA College Nationals in the All Girl group stunt competition and NCA College Nationals. These competitions once seemed like dreams but became a reality thanks to NC State Cheerleading. I’m still growing and always learning but NC State Cheer has truly helped me develop into the person I am today."

Madison recently graduated with a degree in Business Administration Marketing from NC State and already has her future plans aligned in front of her! 

"I am currently an Associate Sales Representative (ASR) within the Cisco Sales Associate Program," says Hunt. "I am training with 28 other ASRs from across the country learning about sales and Cisco's technology. I love this program because it allows me to utilize the skills I took away from cheering, specifically the ability to work within a team and how to succeed in a competitive environment."

• 2017 ICU World Champion
• 2018 NCA Collegiate National Champion
• 2019 Small Coed MVP
• 2020 UCA All Girl Group Stunt National Champion
• 2x Small Coed Captain
• 4x NCA All-American

While at North Carolina State, Madison was also a Student Scholar Athlete and was on the Dean's List. Although Madison was very successful during her time at NC State, her favorite part during her four years wasn't the winning!

"My favorite part about cheering at NC State was definitely my teammates," said Hunt. "Even on the days that were tough, my teammates never failed to put a smile on my face. I could walk into practice and talk to anyone. Everyone was extremely motivating and just wanted to see one another succeed. I also came out with some life long friends."
