The 2020 Premier Athletics Showcase is finally here and we can't wait to watch all their talented teams start their season LIVE on Varsity TV!
All nine gym locations (while social distancing) will be live from around the country to give us a glimpse of their talent and perform their routines for the first time this season.
The Premier Athletics program is filled with talented teams but as you get set to watch the showcase live, here are seven teams you don't want to miss!
Premier Athletics - Knoxville North - Jaguar Sharks
Division: Youth Contemporary/Lyrical
Performance Time: 10:35 AM CT

Premier Athletics - Knoxville North - Shimmer Sharks
Division: Mini Hip Hop
Performance Time: 11:00 AM CT
The Shimmer Sharks placed in the top two in the Mini Hip Hop Small division last season at The Groove Experience and we are ready to see them break it down on stage this weekend! Tune in at 11:00 AM CT to check out their new routine!
Premier Athletics - Knoxville North - Cobra Sharks
Division: L4 - U17
Performance Time: 2:15 PM CT
The Cobra Sharks had a strong 2019-2020 season as they claimed a CHEERSPORT National Championship title in the Senior Small Coed Level 5 division! This talented team has moved into a new division this season and we look forward to seeing if they can claim the same championship success in 2021!
Premier Athletics - Knoxville West - Tiger Sharks
Division: L4 Senior
Performance Time: 2:45 PM CT
The Tiger Sharks made waves at the 2019 UCA Bluegrass Championship with their polished and creative routine. The L4 Senior Coed team took the mat with confidence and drew one of the largest and loudest cheering sections of the day. Their routine earned the Tiger Sharks a Wild Card bid to The Summit 2020!
Premier Athletics - Columbia - Blackout
Division: L5 Senior
Performance Time: 3:35 PM CT
Premier Athletics Blackout started the 2019-2020 season with a zero-deduction routine and a second-place finish at the 2019 UCA Smoky Mountain Championship! Will Blackout start the new season with another hit-zero routine? Be sure to tune in to Varsity TV to find out live!
Premier Athletics - Knoxville - JAWS
Division: L6 Senior Medium Coed
Performance Time: 3:50 PM CT
Premier Athletics JAWS is a team on the rise in the very competitive Senior Medium Coed Level 6 division. JAWS finished in the top five at the 2020 CHEERSPORT National Championship and we can't wait to see what the Tennessee team brings to the mat this season.
Premier Athletics - Michigan - Legacy
Division: L5 Senior Open Coed
Performance Time: 3:55 PM CT
Legacy took the top spot in their division at the 2020 GLCC: The Showdown Grand Nationals!
This season, Legacy has entered a new coed division! Their theme this year is a celebration of their previous 9 Legacy teams using throwback music and voiceovers. Although the talented team just got back in the gym on September 13th due to COVID-19, the athletes are driven and looking extremely strong as a team already.
