Olathe Northwest has been attending NCA competitions for the last five years and this weekend the Kansas team is taking on the NCA November Virtual Championship on Varsity TV!

This weekend, Olathe Northwest High School is competing in the Game Day Varsity Non-Building division and the Game Day JV/Freshman Non Building division.

"This year looks very different but our team has attacked everything they’ve done with excitement and hard work," shared Collins. "We are in a mask mandated area and cannot stunt so focusing on motions, jumps, and tumbling has been a great focus for us this year. We are taking every opportunity to be competitive and thankful we have the opportunity to compete this year with all the restrictions we face."

Collins said her goal for the team this season is for her athletes to leave it all out on the mat every time they get to perform & compete. 

"Our school is going back virtual in a few weeks so we understand that every opportunity we get to perform is a blessing and we are not taking it for granted."
