Tennessee Leads 3 Divisions At UCA & UDA College Nationals

The University of Tennessee has been on fire today at the 2021 UCA & UDA College Cheerleading and Dance Team National Championship and the Volunteers are on top in three spirited divisions after Semi-Finals.

Tennessee is heading into Finals in first place in Dance Division IA Game Day, Cheer Division IA Game Day, and Mascot!

The Tennessee spirit program as a whole is known for its astounding traditions and game day. Each year the Volunteers are not only trying to improve the overall skill set of their team but they are also constantly working to make the game day experience better.

"Our main goal every season aside from nationals is to engage with the fans and be a part of the spirit-raising aspect of game day by leading the crowd at every athletic game and event we attend," explained Head Cheer Coach Chelsea Harris Bowlin. "Game day is what we do best."

"We tell the team to assume that someone at each game is a “first-timer” and we want them to have the full Tennessee experience! We have such a unique and family-orientated unified program between our cheer, dance, and mascot team that we really do bring an awesome fan experience to all who visit Rocky Top!"
