Two-Time Summit Champions, Zodiac Shadow To Compete In JAMfest Europe
Zodiac Shadow, the two-time Summit Champions from England are set to compete in the 2021 Virtual JAMfest Europe on Varsity TV.
Zodiac Allstars is a small gym on the south coast of England. They may only train on a mat made up of four panels, but Zodiac Allstars has made a major splash in the all star cheerleading community.
Zodiac Allstars brought their first L1 International Junior team to The Summit 2018. Their goal for Shadow was to make it to Finals in a division of 31 talented teams. Shadow had a stunt fall on Day 1 and the athletes were devastated, however, they qualified in second place and that ignited a fire for the team to put on a show in their next performance.
In Finals, Shadow hit zero and won their first-ever title at The Summit!

"This set the tone for the next season as we and the athletes were hungry for that feeling again," shared Coach Andy Wicks. "We tried from the very beginning to create a hardworking, positive atmosphere at training sessions and the expectations set out for the team were received by the athletes."
In 2019, Zodiac Allstars Shadow focused on the attention to detail throughout their routine and they made history as the first team from England to win back-to-back championship titles at The Summit!

"To go from the highs of two Summit wins and an NCA All-Star title to 16 months of nothing was really hard for the athletes. We believe that the determination to persevere against all the odds is what will allow them to continue to be successful, humble, and great human beings. We are keeping everything crossed to attend in 2022."

"Our goal is for the judges to enjoy the routine, to showcase what Zodiacs can offer even in a short time," shared Wicks. "Zodiacs have been renowned for a "style" which I think will shine through."
