Summer is finally here and that only means one thing! 

It’s the time of the year where YOU get to choose which high school and college cheer teams you want to see featured on Varsity TV this upcoming year! Get ready to nominate and vote for your favorite spirit program during the 2022 Cheerleader's Choice: School Spirit Spotlight.

Varsity TV wants to share the untold stories of the transformative teams and athletes that are making the world a more spirited place. Help us shine a light on the programs that elevate school spirit, champion their communities, and drive competitive excellence. Twenty teams will make it into the voting round with five teams selected as winners! 

In 2021, more than 800 nominations were sent in from fans for their favorite high school and college cheer team! A record-breaking total of 16,700 votes were cast among the top 20 teams selected. 

Trinity Valley Community College, Minnetonka High School, Byron Nelson High School, Villa Park High School, Archbishop Shaw High School, and Broken Arrow High School were the fan favorites last season and were named 2021 Cheerleader's Choice: School Spirit Spotlight winners!

We want to know what makes your favorite spirit program special—both on and off the mat. From storied traditions to starting a legacy all their own, each team has their own story and we want to help tell it. 

Nominations for the 2022 Cheerleader's Choice School Spirit Spotlight will start on Monday, June 13th at 8 AM CT and will conclude on Wednesday, June 22nd at 11:59 PM CT.

2022 Cheerleader's Choice Timeline

• Nomination Entry Period: Monday, June 13th - Wednesday, June 22nd
• Final Voting Period: Monday, June 27th - Friday, July 8th
• Cheerleader's Choice Champions Revealed: Friday, July 15th
