Nominations for the 2022 Cheerleader's Choice: School Spirit Spotlight are finally OPEN! 

Take this opportunity to nominate your favorite high school or college spirit squad for a chance to be featured on Varsity TV this upcoming season.

To be considered, tell us about yourself and the high school or college squad you are nominating. After the nomination period ends, the Varsity TV panel will assess all nominations and choose the top 20 finalists who will move on to the next round: the final fan vote. 

When entering, be sure to describe what makes your program distinct from any other! Our team is in search of unique squads that exhibit passionate athletes, extraordinary coaches, lively traditions, and stand-out stories. 

Share this chance to highlight your team with your friends, family, community, and whoever else has an impact in your life. The top 20 finalists will be announced on Monday, June 27th when the final voting period begins!

2022 Cheerleader's Choice Timeline

• Nomination Entry Period: Monday, June 13th - Wednesday, June 22nd
• Final Voting Period: Monday, June 27th - Friday, July 8th
• Cheerleader's Choice Champions Revealed: Friday, July 15th at 5:00 PM CT

Rules & Restrictions

Anyone may submit a nomination. School programs nominated must be located in the United States in order to be eligible to win. Finalists will be selected based on creativity, originality, community involvement and uniqueness. Multiple nominations for the same team will be taken into consideration. Finalists will consist of 20 school teams. Votes are limited to one per person, per day. The five programs receiving the most votes will win.
