The wait is over! After receiving 22,000 votes, here are your 2022 Cheerleader’s Choice: School Spirit Spotlight winners in no particular order. 

Georgia Southern University 

The Eagles out of Statesboro, Georgia are 8 time NCA College National Champions with their most recent win in 2022 in Intermediate All Girl Division IA. 

Western Kentucky University 

The Hilltoppers from Bowling Green, Kentucky have been a force to be reckoned with here recently at the UCA & UDA College Cheerleading and Dance Team National Championship. Their All Girl program took home their first title in 2021 while their Coed team is the defending champions in Small Coed Division IA. 

Rockvale High School

The Rockets out of Rockvale, Tennessee have made some commotion at the UCA National High School Cheerleading Championship. The team was only established in 2019 and last year they placed fifth in the nation in Large Varsity Division I. 

University of North Texas 

The University of North Texas is located in Denton, Texas, and the Mean Green are the back-to-back NCA College Division I Spirit Rally Champions taking home the coveted title in both 2021 and 2022.

Weeki Wachee High School 

Weeki Wachee High School out of Brooksville, Florida is known for their spirited game day performances but last season the Hornets made school history as they competed their first traditional routine at the 2022 UCA National High School Cheerleading Championship and advanced on to the Semi-Finals!
